LEST WE FORGET 123 FEDORN, William Lyle “Bill” WWII & Korea William was born on July 29, 1922, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He enlisted in the Canadian Army on February 23, 1942 with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. He also enlisted for service in the Korean War from September 1950 to 1953. William retired from military service in 1962. His theatres of service include Canada, Britain, Central Mediterranean Area, Northwestern Europe and Korea. He received the 1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal of Britain, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, War Medal 1939-1945, Victory Medal, Korea Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and Canadian Forces’ Decoration. William resided in Yorkton with his loving wife Sylvia, spent his last five-and-a-half years in the Yorkton Nursing Home until his death on January 19, 2015. William was a proud 20year Veteran and a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Yorkton, General Alexander Ross Branch. FEUSI, Alban WWII Alban was born in 1917. He joined the Infantry (Corporal) RAF in 1943 and was killed during training in Calgary, Alberta, on February 10, 1943. He is buried in Langenburg, Saskatchewan. FELLING, Claude WWII Claude joined the 5th Field Regiment, 2nd Division (General) of the Army on January 4, 1941 and served in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe and was discharged on September 21, 1945 and was manager of the Anglo Service Station for many years after the war. He married Lillian and raised a family, and in 1975 he retired and moved to Saskatoon. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, Defence Medal, France and Germany Star, 1939-1945 Star, and War Medal 1939-1945. Claude had been a member of the Langenburg Branch 250 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 46 years before he passed away in Saskatoon on April 2, 1999.
