LEST WE FORGET 103 DERYCKE, Bernard WWII Bernard was born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan. He joined the W.L.I. on June 8, 1942 and served in Canada. Bernard never married and after his discharge he farmed for a while and then sold the farm. He passed away in 1989. DIXON, Frederick “Ted” WWI Ted was born in 1894 in England and came to Canada in 1913 and worked at Carnduff. In 1914, he joined the Army and went overseas. He returned and filed for land in the Love area in 1919 and married Elizabeth in 1925, raising three children. He and Elizabeth belonged to theWhite Fox Legion and Auxiliary since these organizations first started. They moved into White Fox in 1956. Ted passed away in 1962. DERYCKE, Charles WWII Charles was born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan. He joined the Army (Trooper) on June 14, 1941 and was discharged on September 29, 1944. Charles never married and after his discharge he farmed for a while with his brother Bernard until they sold the farm. He passed away in 1992.
