LEST WE FORGET 63 ARCAND, Clement WWII & KOREA Clement was born on November 11, 1921, in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan and enlisted in World War II with the Royal Canadian Army Corps on June 25, 1941 and was discharged on January 14, 1946. He reenlisted again with the Corps for service in Korea on January 26, 1952 and was discharged on January 26, 1955. He served in Canada, Britain, Central Mediterranean and NW Europe during World War II, and in Canada and the Far East for Korea. Clement received the 1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, War Medal 1939-1945 and the United Nations Service Medal (Korea). Clement passed away on July 12, 1993. ARCAND, Francis Xavier WWII Francis was born on December 3, 1909, in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Canadian Army on September 16, 1941 and was discharged on October 22, 1945 after serving in Canada, Britain, Central Mediterranean and Northwest Europe. He received the 1939-1945 Star, the Italy Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp and the War Medal 1939-1945. Francis passed away on September 2, 1990. ARCAND, Collin WWII Collin was born on January 13, 1924, in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan and enlisted with the Canadian Army on June 30, 1941 and was discharged on May 14, 1945, serving in Britain with the Saskatoon Light Infantry, Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and the Canadian General Pioneer Company. He received the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp and the War Medal 1939-1945. Collin passed away in 1947.
