LEST WE FORGET 365 WINTER, Charles Ambrose WWII Charles was born in April of 1920 in Coronach, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in January 1942 and served in England and Canada until his discharge in February 1946. He married Elvina Schmidt in 1949 and they started to farm east of Coronach until retirement in 1987. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Coronach Branch 268 for 48 years. Charles passed away in February 2001. WOLFE, John WWII John was born near Markinch, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Army in November 1941. He served with the Saskatchewan Horse Regiment, Secret Service in Canada, England, India, France, Belgium and Holland until his discharge on January 31, 1946. After the war he married and moved to Saskatoon. John passed away on December 16, 1998. WOLFE, Frank WWII Frank was born near Markinch, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Army on November 29, 1942 and served with the 28th Canadian Armed Regiment Tank Corps in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge on February 24, 1946. After the war he married and moved to Regina. Frank passed away on February 15, 1984.
