He served from 1973 to 1984 in Gravelbourg, Lloydminster, Leader, Regina SK, and Banff AB as detachment investigator and intelligence officer with “F” Division, “K” Division, Security Service Division. VAN CAESEELE, George WWII George was born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan, and joined the #1 Platoon Company, #122 CABTC. He married Meuril in 1944 and soon went overseas. He was wounded in action and upon retiring from the war, he worked at various jobs doing carpentry before settling down in Winnipeg. He worked there for the Department of National Defence making training aids for the air force. He retired in 1976. George raised four children and passed away from cancer in Winnipeg on July 30, 1981.
