LEST WE FORGET 345 UNDERHILL, Donalda Doreen WWII Donalda, a twin to her brother, Donald, was born on a farm near Tessier, Saskatchewan, on December 23, 1925. She attended Jasper School and then Haultain School in Saskatoon. She joined the RCA and served in Canada. She later married and raised a family in Saskatoon. Donalda passed away on April 21, 1989. UNDERHILL, Herbert M. WWII Herbert was born on a farm near Tessier, Saskatchewan, on August 3, 1915. His career included boxing and working on a cattle ranch in California. He served as an air frame mechanic in the Royal Canadian Air Force and partnered with his family in the painting and roofing business in Saskatoon, Underhill Bros, and later ran his own contracting business, Calgary Custom Caulking, in Calgary for many years until his retirement. Herbert passed away in 1991. UNDERHILL, Florus Carl WWII Florus was born on a farm in Tessier, Saskatchewan, on February 17, 1920. He joined the RCA as a gunner (CASF), Searchlight Division at Vane Isle, British Columbia. He and his family moved to Lansing, Michigan, USA, and settled there in 1948. He worked many years at Michigan State Union as a plumber and in the metal shop. He also partnered with his brother, Donald, in painting and they formed a company, F and A Painting, and worked several years until his retirement. Florus passed away on April 6, 1992.
