LEST WE FORGET 343 TOUPIN, Adelard WWII Adelard joined the RCA. He married Mary Fowlie and they raised three boys: Lawrence, George and Maurice, who attended Arborfield School. The family moved to Winnipeg. Adelard belonged to the Arborfield Legion and Mary to the Legion auxiliary. Adelard is deceased. TUMA, Charles WWII Charles was born in Marchwell, Saskatchewan, in 1919. He joined the 115th Air Force Squadron in 1941 and was missing in action following a bombing raid over Europe. He was killed in action on February 4, 1943, when he was shot down over Dover when his Wellington was returning from a night mine laying operation at Lorient, France. He is commemorated on the Runneymede Memorial near London, England, for airmen who died with no known grave. He has a geomemorial: Tuma Lake. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, the Defence Medal, the 1939-1945 War Medal, and the Air Crew European Star. TREMBLAY (VUIMONT), Blanche WWII Blanche enlisted with unit No. 110 Depot Company CWAC on April 2, 1943 and was discharged on March 9, 1946. She lived at Zenon Park and joined the Arborfield Legion. Blanche is deceased.
