LEST WE FORGET 313 SCHOEPP, Harold WWII Harold was born on December 27, 1917. He moved to the Langenburg area in 1924 and joined the RCASC as a basic training instructor in October 1942, and was discharged on January 8, 1944. After the war, Harold married Lily in 1943, and they had three children and ran Schoepp’s Groceteria from 1948 to 1954 and sold it, but stayed to work there until 1995. He worked at various jobs before retiring in Langenburg. Harold passed away on December 23, 1998. SCHULTZ, Theodore “Teddy” WWII Theodore served some time in the Canadian Army and then transferred to the Royal Canadian Air Force, serving in Canada only. He passed away in 1988. SCHULTZ, Hugo WWII Hugo was born in Pine Ridge, Manitoba, on August 14, 1901. He moved to Langenburg when he was young and joined the Army. During the war, Hugo was a chauffeur, driving cars and trucks. After the war, he worked on farms and elevators in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and then moved to town and worked in a hotel. He passed away in July 1999.
