LEST WE FORGET 299 ROULSTON, Walter V. WWII Walter was born in the Ingleside District, south of Marchwell, Saskatchewan, on December 13, 1908. He joined the 18th Battery RCA 2nd Anti Tank Regiment in 1939 with the Army still using the World War I uniforms. Soon after his arrival in England, he took up duties in Italy, where he spent most of his years overseas. In his many Army positions, he served from private to the rank of corporal, and was with the Signal Corps, and a gunner. In 1945, he returned to Marchwell and married in 1964 and then moved to British Columbia. He died in 1979 from gall bladder surgery complications. RUDD, Henry WWII Henry joined the Army and served overseas. He passed away in 2001. ROWAN, Andrew G. WWI Andrew was born in Dunblane, Scotland, in 1879. He joined the CEF 4th Field Company in November 1914 and was discharged on May 23, 1919.
