Military Service Recognition Book - Volume 18

LEST WE FORGET 1 As our Sovereign’s representative in Saskatchewan, I am pleased to extend greetings on behalf of His Majesty King Charles III, King of Canada to the Royal Canadian Legion, Saskatchewan Command and everyone who has supported the 2024 Military Service Recognition Book. It is my privilege to act as the Honorary Patron of the Saskatchewan Command and I am proud to be connected to an organization that serves veterans and their families. I offer my heartfelt thanks to all who have contributed to this special publication. I am especially grateful to those of you who have helped to research and share images and stories so that members of the military from our province might be recognized within in this book. It is a wonderful gift to have loved ones celebrated in such a manner. Families, friends and each one of us can be proud of these brave Canadians who have played a vital role in defending the peace, freedom and democracy that we enjoy. I extend my deep gratitude to all veterans for their service. Thank you to the members of the Royal Canadian Legion for your many worthy initiatives to assist and advocate for our veterans. Best wishes and continued success to the Saskatchewan Command. Russ Mirasty Lieutenant Governor Province of Saskatchewan
