He joined the Army in August 1942 and served in Canada and England as a gunnery instructor at the Dauphin Air Force station and went overseas in early 1945. He was discharged in July 1945. Daniel passed away on December 7, 2002. ROBERTSON, Lloyd WWII Lloyd joined the Army and served overseas. He passed away in 2001. RINK, Wendelin WWII Wendelin was born in Kendal, Saskatchewan, on August 27, 1923. He joined the Iroquois Squadron Royal Canadian Air Force on June 29, 1942 and served in England and all over Europe. He was killed in a raid over the Rhur at Essen, Germany, on March 11, 1945, doing his ninth trip, and is buried in Reichswald Forest Cemetery in Germany.
