LEST WE FORGET 257 MOLONEY, David Thomas WWII David was born in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, in 1920. He joined the Regina Rifles and served in Canada, France and England. He passed away in 1944. MONCRIEF, John Barnard WWII John was born in Bailieboro, Ontario, on September 25, 1917. He joined the Army in 1942, but due to ill health, he was discharged on August 22, 1942 and went to the Alameda area around 1944. He married Elizabeth Ruth Martin and they raised three boys. Jack joined The Royal Canadian Legion Frobisher Branch in 1947 and then the Alameda Branch 267 in 1981 and was very active in the community. John passed away on December 28, 1985. MOLONEY, George Edward WWII George was born in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, in 1927. He joined the Saskatchewan Command and served in Canada. He passed away in 1993.
