LEST WE FORGET 79 BRAGER, Arthur WWI Arthur was the son of Adolph Brager who was born in Siksile, Sweden of Norwegian descent and immigrated to North Dakota in 1885. Adolph married Ingeborg Flatin and came to Canada and settled to farm in 1903. Arthur was one of their seven children, and he served in World War I and married Hilma Bjork. They farmed in the Hagen area. Lloyd, one of their five children, was killed in Italy while serving in World War II. Arthur and Hilma retired to New Westminster where he passed away. BREMNER, John WWI John was born in Scotland and enlisted with the 89th Battalion, 17th Reserve Battalion in December 1915, and served in England during World War I. He was medically unfit for service because his heart and hearing were affected. BRAGER, Kenneth Lloyd WWII Kenneth was born in Watson, Saskatchewan in 1920 and was a Pilot Officer with #408 Goose Squadron RCAF Lancaster Pilot serving in Canada and England. He was killed in action on December 20, 1943 over Frankfurt, Germany and is buried at Hotton Cemetery, Malmedy, Belgium. He was the son of Ole and Mable Brager, a Norwegian couple who came to Siksile, Sweden in the Deer Lodge District in 1903.
