Jean married in 1947 and has lived in Saskatchewan until her death in 2008. Her uniform is in the Beckoning Hills Museum in Boissevain, Manitoba. She was a member of the Indian Head, Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Legion for twenty years. ARMSTRONG, Douglas J. WWII Douglas was born in Rocanville, Saskatchewan in 1915. He enlisted in the Army and served with the South Saskatchewan Regiment in Canada, Britain and Northwestern Europe during World War II. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Rocanville Branch 20 and Brandon Branch 3 for more than ten years. Douglas passed away in 1994. ARMSTRONG, Doris M. WWII Doris was born in Welwyn, Saskatchewan in 1918. She enlisted in the Army and served with the 26th Field Militia in Canada during World War II. Doris was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Brandon Branch 3 for twelve years. She passed away in 1996.
