LEST WE FORGET 67 BLACKBURN, Norman WWI Private Norman Blackburn served overseas during World War I with the 3rd Battalion, Canadian Machine Gun Corps. He was killed in action on September 24, 1918 while on parade at No. 1 Camp, at the age of 22. He is buried at Wanquetin Cemetery in Arras, France. BLOMQUIST, Haven Geoffrey “Marlow” WWII Marlow was born in Crookston, Minnesota in 1911, and joined the RCAF serving in England. He married Maria Pashniak from Moose Jaw. Marlow passed away in 1968. BLANCHARD, Martin Walter WWII Martin was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on May 26, 1912 and served in England, France and Belgium in the Canadian Army from 1939 to 1945. He took his schooling in Winton and Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Martin passed away on January 15, 1996.
