Military Service Recognition Book Volume XIV 44 Let us honour the spirit of courageous men and women who have fallen in the service of our country. These brave souls come from all walks of life and from every corner of this great country. They were fathers, sons, mothers and daughters; they were members of our families, our friends and our neighbours. They were ordinary people until they were asked to make extraordinary sacrifices in the extraordinary times of war. We are humbled and grateful for their sacrifices in the service of our country. We appreciate their courage, their dedication, and their commitment to peace and to the rights and freedom of mankind.
