LEST WE FORGET 39 ARCAND, Joseph Thomas WWII Joseph Thomas was born on September 21, 1918, in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Engineers on May 16, 1941 and was discharged on December 19, 1945 after serving in Canada, Britain and the Mediterranean. He received the 1939-1945 Star, the Italy Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp and the War Medal 1939-1945. Joseph Thomas passed away in 1970. ARCAND, Paul WWII Paul was born in 1901 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan and enlisted with the Saskatoon Light Infantry (MG) on October 13, 1939 and was discharged on January 15, 1940. He received the War Medal 1939-1945. Paul passed away on February 7, 1967. ARCAND, Patrick Morris WWII & KOREANWAR Patrick was born on August 25, 1925, in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps on September 16, 1941 and was discharged on November 1, 1945. He re-enlisted again for Korea on January 23, 1952 and was discharged on January 23, 1955. Patrick received the 1939-1945 Star, the Defence Medal, the France and Germany Star with Clasp and the War Medal 1939-1945. For his service in Korea, he received the Korea Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. Patrick passed away in 1993.
