LEST WE FORGET 357 TORRANCE, W. R. Lincoln WWII Lincoln Torrance was the son of Fred and Anna Torrance. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a pilot. He was stationed in England and on one of his missions was shot down and became a prisoner of war in Germany (Stalag). He escaped several times but was recaptured each time. After returning home, he entered the University of British Columbia to finish his engineering course in Geology. Lincoln passed away in January 2003. UBELL (EDWARDS), Joanne Lucinda PEACETIME Joanne was born on May 22, 1968, in Elrose, Saskatchewan. She is the daughter of Lawrence and Donna Edwards. She joined the Forces in June 1986. She has been stationed in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; Trenton, Ontario; Darwin, Australia (East Timor) and Winnipeg, Manitoba. TRAYHORNE, Reginald James WWII Reginald was born in Greenan, Saskatchewan. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1941 to 1945. He was Leading Aircraftsman for the Royal Canadian Air Force flight training schools in Brandon, Whitehorse, Yorkton, Lethbridge and Estevan.
