LEST WE FORGET 351 TALBOT, Mildred Marion WWII Mildred was born in 1922. She served in the Royal Canadian Air Force Women’s Division from 1942 to 1944 in Trenton, Ontario. She resided in Edmonton, Alberta. TAYLOR, Alexander WWI Alexander was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on June 9, 1887, the son of Alexander and Ann Taylor. He was farming south of Hawarden when he enlisted in Regina on January 13, 1916, at the age of 28. He was with the 9th Brigade of the Canadian Field Artillery. Things moved quickly for Alexander: by July 15, 1916, he found himself in France serving as a driver at the brigade headquarters. He was killed in action at Passchendaele on October 25, 1917. He is buried at Reninghelst New Military Cemetery, Belgium. TANSEY, Arden PEACETIME Arden Tansey is the son of Bernard and Rose Tansey of Forgan, Saskatchewan. He was in the Armed Forces from 1985 to 1993 serving at Chilliwack, British Columbia; Royal Roads Military Academy in Victoria, BC and Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario. He retired in 1993 as Captain Signal Corps.
