LEST WE FORGET 325 ROWLEY, Barry Barry Rowley, son of Florence and Ron Rowley of Elrose, Saskatchewan, enlisted in October 1980. His postings included Downsview, Ontario – Flight Selection Crew; Esquimalt, British Columbia; Chilliwack, BC – B.O.T.C. 8104. He had an honourable release in June 1981 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. ROWLEY, Leo A. WWII Leo was born on September 4, 1902 to Glenn and Bertha Rowley of Minnesota, USA and later Hawarden, Saskatchewan. Leo served in the Army in World War II, being posted in England from 1942 to 1945. After his discharge in 1945, Leo started an electrical business named Rowley’s Electric and moved to Elrose in 1947. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Elrose Branch 206. Leo passed away on June 29, 1976. ROWLEY, Glenn O. WWII Glenn was born in Hawarden, Saskatchewan to Leo and Luella Rowley. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II and served with the RCNVR. Glenn and family lived in Maple Creek where he passed away on February 6, 1987.
