LEST WE FORGET 245 KARESA, George M. George Karesa served our country in the Royal Canadian Air Force. His sons, Paul, Victor, Peter, and Johnny, all served in the Armed Forces. KELLY, Angus Campbell WWII Hugh Tennant Kelly and his wife Elizabeth moved from Belfast to Saskatchewan where Hugh taught for many years in Hawarden. Their son Angus Campbell Kelly was working as a salesman when he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in Regina on October 26, 1940. He was assigned to Squadron 416 at RAF Base Peterhead in Scotland. His Spitfire aircraft crashed into the English Channel on July 19, 1942. Angus Campbell Kelly is commemorated at Runnymede Memorial in England. KARESA, Paul T. WWII Paul Karesa was the son of George Karesa from the Forgan District. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II, along with his father and brothers Victor, Peter and Johnny. After the war, Peter settled in Burnaby, British Columbia. He married and had one daughter, Kathy.
