GREYEYES-STEELE, David George WWII David was born in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan on December 31, 1914. He joined the Saskatoon Light Infantry on June 1, 1940. He also served with the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada in Central Mediterranean and Northwest Europe. He was discharged on July 3, 1946, and received the 19391945 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, War Medal 1939-1945, and the Military Cross Class (111) (Greece). David passed away on July 22, 1996. GREYEYES, William Richard WWII William was born in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan on January 26, 1912. He joined the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps on July 24, 1940, serving in Canada, Britain and Northwest Europe during World War II. He was discharged on January 8, 1946, and received the 1939-1945 Star, Defence Medal, France and Germany Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and the War Medal 1939-1945. William passed away in 1987.
