He was discharged on September 11, 1945 and received the France and Germany Star and various other medals. Frank passed away on March 29, 1984. FISHER, Percy Keith WWII Percy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1916. He was a signalman with the RCC of Signals, serving in France at the Battle of Normandy and the Caen Invasion. He was killed in action on August 8, 1944, at age 28 and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian War Cemetery, Calvados, France. He was killed in a friendly-fire incident. His mother was given the Silver Cross. He was the only son of Percy R. and Victoria Fisher, who had the Post Office at Crystal Springs, Saskatchewan. FISHER, Charles Frederick WWI Charles was born in Crystal Springs, Saskatchewan in 1884. He joined the 6th Field Company, Canadian Engineers and served in France. He was killed in action in 1917 and is buried at Beehive Cemetery, Willerval, Pas-de-Calais, France.
