LEST WE FORGET 87 COLVILLE, Cyril Prichard WWI Cyril Prichard Colville was born to Arthur Lynhurst and Mary Frances Colville at Campbellford, Ontario, on May 2, 1879. Cyril was working as a bank clerk in Outlook, Saskatchewan, when he enlisted as a Private in the 23rd Battalion of the Canadian Infantry in the fall of 1914. He served in France with both the Divisional Supply Column and the Canadian Corps of Signals. On June 3, 1919, prior to his discharge in September, he received the Order of the British Empire Award. Following the war, he spent 45 years in the banking business. Cyril was living in Victoria, BC, when he passed away of a heart attack on January 31, 1947. He had three siblings: Arthur, Violet and Dorothy. COOK, Daniel J. WWII Daniel was born in 1923 in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Army and served with the #6 Repair Depot in Canada until his discharge. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Birch Hills Branch 122 for 42 years. Daniel passed away in 1987. CONVERSE, Carl Vincent WWII Carl was born in 1914 in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II. He served aboard the HMCS Frigate Beacon Hill in England and Ireland. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion SK Hospital Branch 349. Carl passed away in 2005.
