He achieved the rank of Lance Corporal. James passed away in 1982. WOOD, Robert Joseph WWII Robert was born in 1915 in Kincaid, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in the Army and served with the 17th Field Regiment, RCA in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. He was a member of The Order of The British Empire. He received the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Robert passed away in 1980. WOOD, Robert Albert WWI Robert was born on March 23, 1894 in Stratford, Ontario. He signed up in Edmonton in March 1916 and was in Shoreham, England by December 12. He was sent to the Front in February 1917. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for more than forty years. Robert passed away on January 15, 1981.
