LEST WE FORGET 319 REICHERT, Joseph Stanley WWII Joseph Stanley Reichert was born west of the village of Glenside on December 16, 1921, the youngest son of nine children born to Paul and Mary Reichert who emigrated from Russia in 1911. He and his siblings attended the Geneva one-room school. Joe enlisted in the RCAF in 1942 and earned an Aircrew Mechanic Rating. He then went on to obtain his Grade IX diploma. By the time he re-enlisted, World War II was ending. He married Naldera Harrington in 1946 and they had three children: Allen, Richard and Priscilla. After farming until 1959, the family moved to Outlook where Joe was a businessman until his retirement. Naldera passed away in 2012 and Joe in 2014. He is buried in the Outlook Cemetery. REYNOLDS, William Franklin WWII William was born in 1922 in Leslie, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Army and served with the 8th Canadian Reconnaissance in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Leslie Branch 172 for 54 years. William passed away in 2000. REYNOLDS, Ernest A. WWI Ernest was born in 1890 in Holmfield, Manitoba. He enlisted with the Army during the First World War and served with the Wadena Wildcats in the CFC, CEF in Canada, England and France. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Leslie Branch. Ernest passed away in 1960.
