He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1943 and served with the 428 Squadron in Canada and England until his discharge in 1945. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Foam Lake Branch 16 for fifty years. Grimur passed away in 2004. LAUDER, Donald WWII Donald was born on January 9, 1919 in Estevan, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Army on January 22, 1941 in Saskatoon and served with the 1st Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Service Corps in England, Canada, and Northwestern Europe until his discharge in Regina on September 13, 1945. He received the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, and the 1939-1945 War Medal. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 306 for 48 years. Donald passed away on July 6, 2003.
