LEST WE FORGET 167 GREENHOUGH, Challoner Lloyd “Charlie” WWII Charlie was born in 1900. He enlisted in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in June 1941 at the age of forty. He was discharged in November 1945 after serving in Italy, France and Holland during World War II. He was presented with six medals, including the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Charlie’s two brothers, Edwin and Edison, fell in 1917 at Vimy Ridge. Charlie passed away in 1969. GREENHOW, Edwin William WWI Edwin was born in Branthorst, Ontario in 1882. He worked as a well borer and enlisted in the Army during World War I. Private Edwin William Greenhow was with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. He fell on Vimy Ridge on April 9, 1917. There is no known grave. GREENHOW, Edison Eugene WWI Edison was born in Pilot Butte, Assiniboia, Saskatchewan in 1896. He worked as a labourer and enlisted in the Army during World War I. Private Edison Eugene Greenhow was with the 5th Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment. He fell at Arleux-en-Grohelle on April 28, 1917. There is no known grave.
