LEST WE FORGET 123 DRUMM, Douglas PEACETIME Douglas was born on January 15, 1942 in Wawota, Saskatchewan. After completing his grade eleven at Wawota High School, he joined the Royal Canadian School of Signals. He was sent to Kingston, ON, and was later stationed in Gagetown, NB. After three years of service and because of the death of his father in 1963, he returned home to join the family business, Drumm’s Garage. He married Bertha Benner in 1968 and they had four children. He was very active in the Wawota Legion, holding various offices, the last being Poppy Chairman. Douglas passed away on March 6, 2007. DUNCAN, Dan Harold WWII Dan was born on February 8, 1916 on the family homestead in Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Reserve Army and served in Canada until his discharge. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Neville Branch 328 for forty years. Dan passed away on November 7, 1995. DUMONT, William Allan WWII William was born in 1922. He enlisted with the Army and served in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe until his discharge. He received the War Medal 1939-1945, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the Defence Medal, the France and Germany Star, and the 1939-1945 Star for his service. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Duck Lake Branch 246. William passed away in 1994.
