LEST WE FORGET 119 DOLAN, Margaret E. WWII Margaret was born in Ponteix, Saskatchewan. She enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force Women’s Division in March 1943. She received her basic training at #7 Manning Depot in Rockcliffe, ON. She was on course in Toronto from May to September 1943. She was posted to #11 S.F.T.S. in Yorkton, SK, in September 1943. She was then posted to #10 Repair Depot in Calgary, AB, in January 1945. She received her discharge in May 1946 in Calgary. She married Gordon MacDonald in 1950 and raised a family of five children. Margaret passed away on January 20, 2008. DOUGHTY, Arthur WWII Arthur joined the force in 1940 with the Regina Rifles and went overseas and served in many theatres of war. He was wounded in France on D-Day. He returned to Canada in 1945 and was discharged. He was later joined by his war bride. Both are now deceased. DOUCETTE, Aurele WWII Aurele was born in 1927 in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan. He served with the P.A. Volunteers during the war. He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal for his service. Aurele passed away in 1999.
