The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 85 DILTS, Edwin “Ed” WWII Edwin of Harrowby, Manitoba and Stella Bridges of Cartwright, MB were married on October 17, 1945 in Winnipeg after Ed’s return from overseas where he served 4½ years in the Armed Forces during the Second World War. They resided at Harrowby until January 1947 when they moved to Frobisher. Ed was employed by the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR). As there were no houses available, they lived in the CPR bunk car, and then they moved into the Moffat house. They have one adopted daughter, Joanne, who came to live with them in February 1958 at the age of eighteen months. Ed was fatally injured on September 3, 1963. DOELL, Gregory Dean RCMP Gregory was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1970. His locations and positions served within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are: Naicam Community Detachment; Battlefords Rural CTA; Battlefords Municipal General Investigation Section; Swift Current Rural Detachment - Cpl. Ops NCO; NCO I/C Swift Current General Investigation Section; NCO I/C Saskatchewan Sex Offender Registry; Detachment Commander, Craik Detachment. He was awarded the Legion Award - Esprit de Corps in 2001 and the South District Commander Distinguished Service Award in 2014. DOWD, Gregory Allen RCMP Gregory was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1982. He served with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police doing Traffic Services in Broadview, Saskatoon and Martensville. Gregory is a member of Grenfell Legion Branch 55 and has been for eight years.
