The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 83 DALLIN, Walter WWII Walter was the youngest of the Dallin family living in Frobisher in a large ten room house built by his father, Frederick. He took his education in Frobisher. He was in the Navy in the Second World War. After the war, Walter worked for a bank in Victoria. He married Alma Hannah of Frobisher. They had four children, Sandra, Lynn, Jim and Debbie. Alma passed away in April 1988. Walter married Elsa Campbell formerly of Hirach. They resided in Victoria. Walter passed away in 2010. DANROTH, Carl Andrew WWII Carl was born in Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan in 1924. He enlisted in the Army and served with the South Alberta Reconnaissance 4th Division in Holland, France, Germany and England during the Second World War. For his service, Carl was awarded the 1939-1945 Star and the France and Germany Star. Carl passed away in 1992. DEYELL, Roy V. Roy was born in Frobisher on April 25, 1925, son of the late Albert and Ann Mary (Mulligan) Deyell both of Frobisher. He was educated in Frobisher Public School, Estevan Collegiate Institute, University of Toronto and University of Saskatchewan. He served with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve. Roy married Barbara Jean Kendry on June 24, 1950. They had two sons, Albert Stuart and Brian Roy and one daughter, Diana Coleen. Roy passed away in 2011.
