LEST WE FORGET 27 This poem was first recited at a Service, 13 May 1917, only three weeks after Vimy Ridge: 10th Battalion, First Canadian Division. This hymn was found in the personal possessions of BrigadierGeneral Danial Mowat Ormond. At this time he was still a Lieutenant-Colonel, 10 Battalion, CEF. A museum quality replica was donated to Saskatchewan Command by Dr. Paul Kavanagh in an effort to provide the best opportunity for everyone to view it. The original copy of the hymn is held at the Canadian War Museum.
