He enlisted with the Canadian Army in 1939 and served in Nova Scotia and Alberta until 1945. Clarence passed away in 1992. ROSS, Tom Tom was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. He began golfing at an early age and became a formidable competitor by the age of seventeen. He served in the Bristish Army. Tom arrived in Canada in 1924, and by 1926 he was the club professional at the Wascana Golf Club in Regina. He stayed at the Wascana until 1932 and then moved to the Regina Golf and Country Club, where he was the club Pro until his retirement in 1964. ROSZELL, William Stanley “Bill” WWII Bill was born in Verwood, SK on April 14, 1920. After schooling he took a mechanic course in Moose Jaw. In January 1942, he enlisted in the Army with the No.12 Detachment R.C.O.C. in Regina. Later he was CFN in Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers He went with Canadian and USA Troops to the Aleutians to free the islands from the Japanese during the Second World War. He served in the United Kingdom, North Pacific Area and Continental Europe. He was hired by the Americans to repair their Amphibious Vehicles. He then returned to Canada. Then he was sent overseas to serve in Europe until the end of the war. Bill went home and farmed for 45 years. He was married with one son and one daughter. They retired to Assiniboia in 1984. Bill was a Royal Canadian Legion Member for 58 years before he passed away in November 2005.
