The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 151 HUCKLE, Timothy Ross “Tim” Tim was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1971. He enlisted in the Army and served with the Saskatchewan D, 1st Regiment, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry in Cyprus and in Afghanistan. He is still currently serving with the Saskatchewan Dragoons out of Moose Jaw and is currently a sergeant. HUGHES, Geoffrey WWI Geoffrey was born in Birkenhead, England on October 18, 1877. He was a farmer and a member of 20th Border Horse Militia. He enlisted in the Army on March 7, 1916 in Estevan, Saskatchewan. He served with the 5th Bn in France during the First World War. He died on September 2, 1918 from wounds received at the Drocourt-Quéant Line. He is buried at Ligny-Saint-Flochel British Cemetery west of Arras, France. HUNT, Harold Victor WWI Harold was born in Ontario on November 24, 1889. He enlisted with the Army on May 17, 1917 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was a Law student living in Regina, Saskatchewan. He was wounded on August 13, 1918 when he received a gunshot wound to his left hand. He served with the 78th Battalion during the First World War. He returned to Canada because of his injuries and received medical discharge on March 4, 1919. He returned to Regina, SK and was given Homesteading land.
