The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 133 HANNAH, Richard Harvey “Dick” WWII Richard was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hannah. He was born in Alameda, Saskatchewan and in 1924 and went to school in Frobisher. He served in the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Richard was a member of the Frobisher Legion. He worked for W. L. Wireline. He married Maxine Yvonne McKnight and had two sons, Jason Richard and Tyler. Richard lived in Frobisher until he passed away on March 2, 1996 after being very ill for two years. HANNAH, Robert “Bob” WWII Bob was the third son born to Robert Henry and Catherine Rosetta in 1918 in Wakaw, Saskatchewan. His other siblings were Gordon, Harold, Ernest, Alma, Jim and Patricia. The family moved to Alameda in 1924 and then to Frobisher. When the Second World War broke out, he enlisted into the Royal Canadian Air Force and was a WO11 A/G. He was shot down in February 1943 and is buried near Bad Tolz, West Germany in a war cemetery in the Bavarian Alps. HANNAH, Ross WWII Ross was the eldest son of Richard and Annie (Byers). He served in the Second World War. Ross was killed in a car crash in 1975.
