The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 115 GIBSON, Francis Noel Noel was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on December 10, 1940 to Art and Lyla (Forsyth). He finished school and spent one year in the Air Force. He then took a Health Inspector course and took a position with the Federal Government. Noel is stationed in Regina. He married Irena Sabroe, and they have five children. GIBSON, Larry Larry was born in Alameda, Saskatchewan on February 12, 1936 to Art and Lyla (Forsyth). He joined the Air Force upon finishing school and served 23 years, four of them overseas at No 2. (F) Wing in France. Larry is married to Marie Neid and they have five children. He resides in Edmonton, Alberta. GIRGULIS, James “Jim” WWI Jim was born in Kastron, Greece on June 21, 1894. He moved to Saskatchewan in 1910 and took up trapshooting soon after his arrival. He was active as a participant, administrator and coach. As secretary he was instrumental in the development of the Saskatoon Gun Club. Jim is a life member of the Saskatoon Gun Club, the Edmonton Gun Club and Amateur Trap Shooting Association. He maintains that his greatest achievement was coaching George Genereux to a gold medal in the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games. Jim served with the Army with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1918.
