He enlisted in the Army and served in Canada with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry during Peacetime. He was a member of Carievale Legion Branch 285 and Estevan Legion Branch 60 for a total of 32 years. George passed away on November 3, 2003 and is buried at Carnduff, Mount Pleasant No. 2 in Saskatchewan. FORREST, Gerard Louis WWII Gerard was born on February 8, 1912 in Preston, England. He enlisted in the Army and served with the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps, Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. He served as Lance Corporal in Canada, England, France, Belgium and Holland during the Second World War. He was a member of Carievale Legion Branch 285 from the forming of the Branch until his death. Gerard passed away on July 3, 1982 at age seventy and is buried at Carnduff, Mount Pleasant No. 2 in Saskatchewan. FORREST, William WWI William was born in Carluke, Scotland on September 7, 1890. He was the son of Samuel and Mary Forrest. He enlisted in the Army in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on December 16, 1915 and served with the 47 Battalion during the First World War. He had been a farmer in Disley, SK. William was killed in action on May 29, 1917 in France and is buried at the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery in Pas de Calais, France as a Private.
