The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 385 PERRIN, Howard WWII Howard was born in June 1918 in Rosetown, SK. His family moved to the Arborfield, SK area in 1936. He enlisted in the RCE in March 1941. He served as an Electrician in Canada, England, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge on December 6, 1945. He was married in 1948 and ran a furniture store for a while in Arborfield. Howard passed away on May 16, 1973. PETERSON, Curtis Leroy WWII Curtis was born on February 3, 1903 in Mankato, Minnesota, USA and moved to Canada when he was eleven months old. He married Edith Roberts on August 21, 1933. He enlisted in the Army in June 1939 and served with the Royal Canadian Engineers in Canada, England, France, Germany and Holland. Curtis passed away on October 22, 1982. PHILIPS, Ben WWI Ben enlisted in the Army during the First World War. He went to Weldon, SK with his family from Wales on May 26, 1928. He filed for a homestead in the Megan, SK area and went to see it in 1934. In 1937, the family moved to Megan where he and his wife Agnes raised a family of six children. They retired in 1962 and moved back to Weldon. Ben passed away in 1976.
