The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 379 PEARSON, William WWI William was born on December 12, 1888 in England. He joined the Army on August 3, 1915 in Regina, SK. He served with the 46th Battalion in England, France and Belgium until his discharge on June 10, 1919. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Whitewood Branch 87 for twenty-seven years. William passed away on November 8, 1967. PEERLESS, Cecil Charles WWII Cecil enlisted in the Army on October 24, 1941. He served with the South Saskatchewan Regiment as a Gunner in Canada and England until his discharge on November 22, 1943. After the war, he married and farmed south of Arborfield, SK. Cecil is deceased. PENIL, Albert WWII Albert was born on February 21, 1914 in Mayberry, SK. He enlisted in the RCE with the 17th Field Coy in June 1943. He served as a Driver in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge on December 22, 1945. He married and he and his wife raised a family of four children. Albert passed away on June 9, 1976.
