The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 347 MUSGRAVE, William Jr. William was born in 1914 in Deloraine, SK. He was the first child born to William and Minnie (Atchison) Musgrave, two more were to follow. The Musgrave family lived seven miles south-west of Macoun and later west of Macoun. The children went to school in Macoun and later to Dewey School. William Jr. joined the Navy, married and lived in Esquimalt, BC. He had one son. William passed away in Victoria in March 1978. MUTIMER, Charlie WWII Charlie was born in 1917 in Sintaluta, SK. He went to the Arborfield, SK area in 1937, enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force, Equipment Unit on August 25, 1942 and served in Canada until his discharge on November 17, 1945. After the war, he married and bought land through the Veterans’ Land Act in the Megan, SK area. He sold the land in 1971 and moved back to Arborfield where he worked for the RM for fifteen years before he retired. Charlie passed away in 1992. NAUMANN, Edwin WWII Edwin moved from Milden, SK in 1922 with his parents to homestead in the Arborfield, SK area. He enlisted in the Army on February 9, 1942 and served with the 4th Winnipeg Rifles Brigade as a Cook in Canada, England, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge in 1946. He married in England and his wife refused to come to Canada so he brought his two sons back with him. Edwin passed away in 1971.
