The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 341 MOSKOWEC, Peter WWII Peter was born in Poland in 1922 and immigrated to Canada with his family. He completed his Grade ten at Dunwell School near Weekes, SK. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1940 in Regina, SK, completed his basic training, trained as a Firefighter and posted to Bomber Command serving in Canada, England, France and Belgium during the Second World War. He was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp and the War Medal 1939-1945. Peter was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Marango Branch and Kindersley Branch 59. Peter passed away in 2007. MOULDING, Fred WWI Fred was born on June 12, 1897 in Yorkshire, England. He enlisted in the Army on December 4, 1917 and shortly after, was apparently stricken with a case of Red Measles which rendered him unfit for military service and was discharged on June 11, 1918. He served in Canada until his discharge. Fred passed away in 1993. MOULDING, George E. WWII George was born in 1920 in Lemberg, SK. He enlisted in the Canadian Army and served in Canada until his discharge. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and the King George VI Medal, 1939-1945. George passed away in 2007.
