The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 339 MONSON, Magnus Nelson WWII Magnus was born near Riverhurst, SK on October 6, 1918. He joined the Army in 1939 with the Ordinance Corps in Regina and served in Canada, England, Sicily, Belgium and Germany until his discharge. He stayed in Germany for one year repairing shoes and guarding German prisoners. While there, he took up the trade of shoe making in a German civilian school. Again he regrouped to the Regina Rifles and returned to Canada in 1946. Magnus passed away on October 5, 1990. MOROZ, George WWII George enlisted in the Army and served with the Loyal Edmonton Regiment in France, Germany, Italy, England and Canada until his discharge in June 1946. He received the following medals for his service: 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Italy Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Sheho Branch 356. George passed away on June 11, 1993. MOROZ, Mourice WWII Mourice was born in Sheho, SK. He enlisted in the Canadian Army Active in June 1941 and received the following Medals: Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star and Defence Medal. After the war, he re-enlisted and served with the Occupational Forces in Germany for two years. He joined The Royal Canadian Legion Sheho Branch 356 in 1967. Mourice passed away on January 29, 1985.
