The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 323 McMANN, Calvin Calvin was born in Macoun, SK. He was one of six children born to Forest B. and Minnie J. McMann. He went to school in the Macoun-Midale area. He served three years with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and eighteen months with the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry. He served in Canada, the United States and Korea. Calvin was employed by Intercontinental Packers in Saskatoon, Norma Hanson of Trossachs became his wife and together they had two children. Norma was a nurse. McNABB, Donald Alvin WWII Donald was born on March 15, 1918 in Stoughton, SK. He joined the 67th LAA at Rosetown and was sent to Petawawa, ON before going overseas. He served in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Mediterranean and Continental Europe. He was discharged in September 1945, then returned home where he married Helen Collins and they had two children. Donald passed away on December 13, 1981. McQUARRIE, Alan WWII Alan was born on July 7, 1917 to William and Ellen McQuarrie on the family farm at Macrorie, SK. Like his brothers, Alan worked on the farm before joining the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 and served on the Canadian West Coast until his discharge in 1945. Alan married Rhoda Newton in 1949 and they lived and worked in Saskatoon. They had a family of two sons. Alan passed away in February 2001.
