McEVOY, John Vincent WWI John was born on May 1, 1885 in Montreal, Quebec. He enlisted in the Army with the Royal Garrison Artillery Regiment, 4th Army that later became the 38th Welch Regiment during the First World War and served in France until his discharge as Lance Corporal. He married Agnes Mary Rice in London, England on November 9, 1915 and they had four children. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Nolin Branch 178. John passed away on April 6, 1935.
