The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 305 MARION, Rossel Serge SPECIAL DUTY & RCMP Rossel was born in Whitemouth, MB in 1963. He served with the RCMP “F” Division in Saskatchewan and Special Duty in Haiti. He has been a member of the Saskatchewan Command for one year and has always enjoyed serving the Saskatchewan communities that he calls home. MARRIOTT, Stanley Dailey WWII Stanley was born on March 19, 1923 in Moose Jaw, SK. He enlisted and was a Tail Gunner in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1943 and served in France and Germany until his discharge in 1945. On his return home to Saskatchewan, he worked for farmers in the Tompkins area. He was a bachelor, a very avid reader and also enjoyed classical music. Stanley passed away on May 24, 1976 as a result of a severe stroke. MARTIN, Freddy WWI Freddy was born in England. He enlisted in the Canadian Army during the First World War and was wounded in battle. He lived in Lockwood, SK before going to the Megan, SK area to get a homestead. Freddy passed away in British Columbia and is buried there.
