He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War and served in Canada until the end of the war. After his discharge, he returned home to Sheho, married Sophie Husulak on October 6, 1946, and they lived and worked on the Husulak farm until they eventually purchased it. Steve passed away on March 2, 1981. KRESOWATY, Steve WWII Steve was born on January 1, 1918 in Winthorpe, SK. He joined the Canadian Army in the fall of 1939 and was shortly transferred overseas as a Truck Driver for army supplies and ammunition, serving in Holland and France until his discharge. In 1947, Steve married Mary Meleschak and they raised four children. He received the France and Germany Star, the 1939-1945 Star, the Defence Medal, and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Steve died of a heart attack on June 9, 1988. KRISLOCK, Norman Allen WWII Norman was born in 1923 in Swift Current, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as Ground Crew in Canada. Norman passed away in 2004.
