He enlisted in the Army in April 1941 and served with the Regina Rifles, 120th Provost Corps all over Canada and in France before his discharge. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Kyle Branch 124 for thirty years. After the war, he farmed for ten years at a Co-Op Farm and then moved to Kyle, SK. Harold passed away in March 1986. HEIBER, Ivin Lee WWII Ivin was born in 1925 in Bracken, SK. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy in 1942 and served in the North Atlantic aboard the HMS Penetang until the end of the war. Their duty was to hunt for enemy submarines and to escort ships carrying supplies to the soldiers overseas. Ivin passed away in 1978. HEIL, Peter Edward WWII Peter was born in 1913 in Lemberg, SK. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada during the Second World War. Peter passed away in 2006.
