The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 209 HANSON, Jack WWII Jack enlisted in the Army in 1939 and served for eight years in France, Germany, Italy, England, the Netherlands and Belgium until his discharge as a Private in 1947. He received the 1939-1945 Star, the Italy Star, the France and Germany Star, the War Medal 1939-1945 and the Canadian Volunteer Medal. He married Lorena on May 10, 1947 and they raised two children. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Victory Branch in London, ON. Jack passed away in March 1983. HARDIE, Charles WWII Charles was born in 1920 in Jordan River, SK. He enlisted in the Army Ordinance Corps on March 1, 1942 and served in Canada where he suffered a knee injury. He received his discharge on September 12, 1942. After the war he married and farmed, eventually moving to British Columbia. Charles passed away in March 1998. HARRIS, Milo WWII Milo was born in Sheho, SK and attended school there. He joined the Canadian Army Active in Regina and took his basic training in Regina, SK and Orillia, ON. Due to medical reasons, he was not sent overseas but was returned to Regina for discharge on medical grounds. He worked at different jobs after the war until 1975. Milo passed away on October 27, 1975.
