He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1943 in Regina, SK and served in Canada, Bahamas and England before his discharge in 1945. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 87 for forty-two years. Donald passed away in 1986. FRANCOEUR, Joseph Aurèle WWII Joseph was born in Marengo, Saskatchewan in 1921. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy and served as Leading Seaman onboard the Kooteny, a destroyer on the high seas and in Newfoundland during the Second World War. His medals include the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star and Clasp, RCNVR Service Medal and Clasp, and War Medal 1939-1945. Joseph passed away in 1993. FRAZIER, Donald WWII Donald was born in 1925 in Tugaske, SK. His family moved to Arborfield, SK in 1931. He enlisted in the Canadian Army with the Sherbrooke Fusiliers Regiment as a Gunner on January 7, 1943. He served in Canada, France, Holland and Germany until his discharge on February 21, 1946, after which he got married. Donald is deceased.
